How to Use your Jio Balance
Before you use any Jio pack, make sure that you have enough account balance on your Jio number. The different recharge amounts give you enough Talktime balance on your Jio number. You can make a missed call to 1299 to know your data balance, call benefits, and validity of your number all via SMS. Alternatively, dial *333*# to get the same information.
Can Jio work without a Recharge
The terms and conditions from Jio are clean that if you fail to recharge, after the validity expiry date of your current recharge, then you will not make any calls, but you can receive both calls and texts.
